Early Life

Bryan loved music from a young age. His parents had a collection of records featuring country stars like George Strait, Conway Twitty, and Merle Haggard. At 14, they bought him a guitar. He quickly became skilled at playing and singing, joining local musicians.

He even formed a band and graduated from Lee County High School in 1996. At 19, he planned to move to Nashville. Sadly, his life changed when his older brother, Chris, died in a car accident.

This tragedy made him put his Nashville dreams on hold. He continued his studies at Georgia Southern University to stay close to his family. He also worked on his father’s peanut farm and played music at night in local bars.

Despite the challenges, Bryan was determined to follow his musical dreams. He wrote songs constantly and even released a self-produced album. Seeing his son’s passion, Bryan’s father encouraged him to pursue music. He told Luke to pack his truck and head to Tennessee or risk losing his chance.
