Doha Institute for Graduate Studies is a private institution of higher education in Doha, Qatar. It was established in 2014. It is also known as DI. Doha Institute for Graduate Studies is certified as a National Institution of Higher Education by the Supreme Education Council of Qatar.
About Doha Institute for Graduate Studies
In 2014, it was born as an autonomous legal entity by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies situated in Doha. Arab Center for Research & Policy Studies announced the formal launch of the Doha Institute. It is a non-profit and graduate academic institution.
It is formed entirely for Educational, Research & Public Service purposes. This institute adopts a student-centered approach to learning and promotes interdisciplinary research. It uses Arabic and English as a language of instruction. This institute aims to graduate researchers and practitioners who can advance knowledge and better the Human condition.
DI provides leadership-based training that highlights the competencies necessary to satisfy the region’s needs in sustainable development & intellectual advancement and modernization. DI holds the guiding ethics of academic Freedom and highlights the values of integrity and professionalism.

Admission Criteria/Requirements at Doha Institute for Graduate Studies
For Doctoral Studies:
- Create an Application on the DI Admission Portal
- Applicants can submit only one Application
- Applicants can save their Application progress and apply in many sessions
- Candidates are required to upload all of the application materials on the online portal
- Candidates are requested references online by the Online Application System
- Referees receive the Reference Request Automatically
- Applicants can fill out the reference forms Online
- After submission of the Application, candidates can check the status of their references online.

Scholarship of the 2nd Phase of the Doctoral Studies
It is a full-time reading prospectus. To achieve this scholarship, a GPA should not be less than 3.5 in the course of 1st phase.
Scholarship of the 3rd Phase of the Doctoral Studies
It is prepared for the dissertation. To achieve this scholarship, the student must pass the comprehensive examination.
