This university college was established by The Iraqi Society for Statistical Science. This college grants the degree of bachelor in several Scientific disciplines and is subject to the Laws, Rules, Instructions, and Regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through direct Scientific and Educational administration on its variety of activities.
Recently, this university includes almost 13 Engineering, Medical & Scientific Departments. At this university, the study period at every stage is 4 years. The students at this university are granted a bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Science excluding the Department of Dentistry and Pharmacy.
At this college, the educational system comprises 2 semesters apart from the pharmacy department. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research approves the certificates awarded to the student.
This college has numerous faculties including 12 Medical Labs, 25 engineering and Scientific Laboratories, 60 classrooms, and 40 halls in the building. Also, this college has Artistic, Cultural, and Poetry activities Annual Scientific Conferences and Seminars, and Sports activities.

Its second building is in the Al-Banook district or Baghdad district which comprises of other Engineering and Scientific Departments like Cooling and Air Conditioning Engineering. The building of the Dental Hospital is in Al-Qahira District or Baghdad.

The College Council is created according to the Iraqi Universities and Colleges Law. It comprises of the Dean of the College, Heads of Scientific Departments, Assistant Dean, and an ambassador of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research who fulfill the necessities of the College Members.
One of the particular Experts selected by the Council of the college is for a 2 years. The College Council may call when needed to attend its sessions the opinion of which is to use its capability and expertise and has no right to vote.
The College Council shall take on the implementation of the Scientific and Educational policy of the college. It shall approve the core curriculum and language of the academic subjects. This college council shall grant Certificates and Degrees according to the Laws and regulations. It will arrange the Scientific Research.
