University of Hail is a public institution of higher education in Hail, Saudi Arabia. It was established in 2006. This university is also known as UOH.
History of the University of Hail
In 1998, this university began as a Community College known as the Hail Community College under the support of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. This was the first Community College to open in a planned development of educational opportunities for Saudi Arabian High School Graduates.
This college began by offering 3-year associate degree programs in Business Administration, Computer Systems, and Electronic Engineering & Instrumentation. Soon after, HCC offered 3 Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Applied Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Management Information Systems.
Officially, this university was founded in 2005. In February 2006, this university admitted its first student. The two existing colleges Men Hail Teachers College and the Girls College of Education joined the university in 2007.
