Korea International School is a private school in South Korea. It was founded in 1999 with the permission of the Korean Ministry of Education. It is also recognized as KIS.

About Korea International School

KIS is a daytime, nonprofitable, and non-sectarian school. It is a coeducational school. Its language of instruction is English. At KIS, the teacher-student ratio is 1:7. KIS offers a college preparatory comprehensive curriculum. In the years 2005 to 2006, the AP program started with four classes and later increased to 25 classes.

It provides a full Western Association of Schools and Colleges accreditation from pre-kindergarten to Grade 12. KIS provides a wide education in Humanities, World Languages, Engineering, Arts, Science and Math. It feels proud of its extremely accomplished, innovative, and philanthropic Alumni.

It helps its students to develop different useful skills that will be helpful for them at the elementary level and also for a practical life. KIS thinks that each day is a chance to learn and grow personally and academically. Korea School is an energetic school that offers a modern learning environment.

Subdivision of the Korea International School

Korea International School is sub-divided into three schools

  • Elementary School

Elementary School:

The elementary school is from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5th. The students enrolled in this school are taught almost all of the languages. Its student body is represented by 19 Nationalities.

Middle School:

This school is from Grade 6th to 9th. The students enrolled in it are taught almost 11 of the languages. Its student body is represented by 18 Nationalities.

25 elective classes are formed on teacher passion and student interest. To develop and promote skills in the students, 12 athletic teams are designed. There are almost 20 high-interest clubs in the middle school.

High School:

It is from Grades 9th to 12th. The students enrolled in the high school are spoken by 8 languages. Its student body is represented by 16 Nationalities.

There are almost 26 advanced and AP track courses taught in high school that are relevant and relatable. At high school, there are 32 sustainable service volunteer programs and 72 student-led clubs.
